Your poster, on your lock screen
The poster you made, rebuilt at the exact pixel size of the screen you are putting it on, so the letters stay sharp and the clock never sits on top of the words. Every screen we know about is in the pack, and every one of them is free to download.

Posters are free for everyone, forever. Songs are the thank-you for keeping it that way.
Which screens are in it
Each image is composed at the pixel size below, not scaled up to it, so nothing is stretched and nothing is cropped. If your device is not on the list, take the closest one: it will still look right.

Why the words sit low
A lock screen draws the time across the top of whatever is behind it, so art centered in the frame gets a clock through the crown. On a phone the whole lockup is fitted into the band below the top quarter of the screen and above the home indicator. On a tablet it starts a little higher, and on a laptop or monitor it sits nearly centered, because nothing is laid over the middle of a desktop.
An emoji in your phrase is drawn into the image as artwork, so the file looks the same on every device it lands on. On this page the same emoji is drawn by your own device, which is why it can look a little different here than it does in the download.
Because it is artwork rather than a font, an emoji we have not drawn yet cannot go into a wallpaper. When your poster carries one, this page says so and offers nothing, rather than quietly falling back to the English version of your words.
How to set it
-
iPhone and iPad
Save the image to Photos, then open Settings, Wallpaper, Add New Wallpaper, Photos, and pick it.
-
Android
Save the image, then open Settings, Wallpaper and style, and pick it.
-
Mac
Open System Settings, Wallpaper, Add Photo, and choose the file.
-
Windows
Right-click the file and choose Set as desktop background.
The same steps, and the crisis numbers, travel inside the download as a plain text page, so they are there when the wifi is not.
A fresh calm wallpaper every morning
Want a new phrase each day? The day's calm phrases live at one plain address you can point a shortcut at:
https://keepcalm.org/api/daily
On iPhone, using the free Shortcuts app:
- Open Shortcuts and make a new Personal Automation for a time each morning.
- Add Get Contents of URL, pointing at the address above, to fetch the day's phrases.
- Make a wallpaper here with that phrase, save it to Photos, and add the Set Wallpaper action to your automation.
On Android, save a wallpaper and set it as your lock screen in Settings. An automation app can refresh it daily if you want one, and a quick daily tap works just as well.
Those phrases are published in English today, so a shortcut built on them will be in English.

This one is drawn in your browser, with the fonts already on your device, and never leaves it. It gives you a single image at a common aspect ratio rather than the exact-size pack above.
