You no sleep good and da day still come anyway. You know what you was planning fo' do today. You also know exactly how far you stay from dat version of you dat was suppose to do it. Get light in da room, get one kettle, and get one decision waiting dat stay smaller den how it feels.
Steam on da window, one soft patch. One chair pulled out crooked from last night. Da hum of one building dat only half awake. Your shoes by da door, one little bit turned, right wea dey land.
You been waiting fo' be dat rested version before you start, and dat person no show up, evah. Hea's what dat cost you, and it add up faster den you tink: conditions good enough fo' earn one start, dat happen maybe one day out of five, so if you make da rule need dat, you giving away four days out every five to nobody. Ova one year, dat's most of da year. Da work nevah was waiting for your best self. It was waiting for any version of you, and you kept sending excuse instead.
Flip it around fo' one second. You already know one tired session beat one skip session, cuz you try both and only one of dem left someting behind. So da standard ain't effort, it's showing up, and showing up available at every energy level you evah had. Half of someting ain't da watered down version of da ting, it IS da ting, at today's size. Da people who keep going, dey not more rested den you. Dey just stop make rest one requirement.
So today, do it small. One third of what you plan, at whatevah pace dis body get, no need be quality. Put it down when it's done and no go check it ova and ova. Tired and finished still count as finished. Nobody grading dis can tell da difference aftah, and neitha you, in one week.
Da rested version of you would've done more. Dat version not hea, and today still is. Go anyway, even if messy, and let dat be da whole standard.
