Get somebody in your life doing one thing you no would do, and you been carrying 'em. You wake up already stay make up da sentence dat might fix 'em. Da light stay coming through da way 'em stay. Get one whole day ahead where dat sentence no need get said.
Two cup by da sink from last night. Da hallway light nobody wen turn off. Somebody's music through da wall, too far fo tell what song. Outside, one ordinary street, no opinion about none of dis.
You been treating one nada grown person's choice like one problem dey gave you. Feel like caring and some of 'em really is. But da reason 'em stay wear you out is simple math: dea decision stay all inside dea life and all outside your control, so every hour you spend on 'em no change nothing ova dea, but stay cost you fo real ova hea. You stay pay full price fo one thing you no can move. And da part dat sting is, da worry get mistaken fo helping, by you and sometimes by dem too.
Ask yourself what da managing really stay for. Steering somebody look like love but underneath, mostly stay da wish fo stop feeling da discomfort of watching. Dat's human, but not da same as helping. People change when da cost land on dem, not when 'em land on da person standing next to dem, so when you soak 'em up fo dem, dat's da one sure way fo delay da thing you like happen. Standing back not da same as abandon. Stay letting one person meet dea own life, which is da only place anybody eva wen learn anything.
So today, one thing goes unsteered. No hint, no betta idea, no carefully worded question dat really one instruction. If dey ask, answer honest and full, everything you really think. If dey no ask, let da quiet be one kindness, not one holding back.
You goin get your hour back and dey goin get dea own life back, and neither of you was using 'em good da other way. Let 'em. Dat's da warmest thing you can give today.
