I wen stop and wen look up, and da sky was doing someting I would have walked straight undahneath wit no noticing. I going do dis one time every day. Um cost one minute and um awready wen change da size of da aftahnoon. Get one whole layer of da world up dea running continuously, fo free, whether or not anybody look at um. Notting about my day had room fo dis, and turns out um wen need none.
One full minute stay mo long den um sound. Da clouds move way mo den anybody would tink inside sixty seconds. Get one bird doing someting structurally impressive and entirely not interested in whether anybody stay watching um. Somebody wen walk past me while I was standing dea and nevah look up, and six months ago dat was me. Da sky not performing fo nobody. Um simply doing dis, all day, above everybody.
I walk mos places looking at one screen or at my feet. Whole seasons wen go past above me while I was reading someting I awready completely wen forget. Dat not one small trade, and I wen make um wit nobody eva offering um to me, one glance at one time. Da default, dat not neutral. Attention go somewea whether or not I direct um, and suppose I decline fo choose, someting else going choose on my behalf, and um nevah going choose da sky one time. Notting up dea stay competing fo me. Az why um lose.
One minute of looking up reset someting small and immediate. Um free, um always available, and I keep declining um, which stay one peculiar ting fo keep doing on purpose. Get no version of my day dat no mo room fo dis. Da scarcity nevah was time. Was da idea dat one minute of doing notting gotta get earned or justified first, and um no gotta, and um nevah did. I been rationing someting dat not in short supply.
So one time today I going stop and look at da sky fo one full minute. Timed, cuz oddahwise I going cut um to fifteen seconds and call um pau, and fifteen seconds, dass one glance instead of one minute. Da timer, dat not pedantry. Dass da difference between actually doing um and having fully intended to, and dat difference, dass wea mos of my good ideas go fo die.
One minute. Da day was mo big den I been treating um, and um was mo big da whole time.
