Your good days, they already good, no need worry about dem. Is da bad ones dat decide how da whole month gon feel, and almost none of your effort go dea. Dis morning is one decent one, so dat make it da perfect time for tink about da other kind. You got light, you got one cup of something, and enough calm inside for plan for one version of you dat no goin have any of dat.

One fridge door wit not much behind it. One phone charging way on da other side of da room. Da regular hum of one building dat wake up already. One coat by da door, ready or no ready, depend on da week.

You always optimize for da days when you already strong. All da plans, da big dreams, da systems, dey all assume one rested person wit one clear afternoon, but dat person only show up maybe two times one week. Dis what dat cost you: one average get pulled down way more by da worst numbers dan it get lifted by da best ones, so one month wit four terrible days and no floor undah dem, dat end up worse dan one month of just regular days, no matter how good da good days was. You been polishing da top part and leaving da bottom completely unwatched.

Ask yourself where da real power is. Making one good day little bit bettah, dat no change much, cuz one good day already work fine by itself. But making one bad day survivable, dat change da whole shape of da month, and is way easier too, cuz one floor get built from boring preparation, not willpower: food stay in da house, one easier version of da routine, one person who know. Dat not lowering your standards. Dat's putting something undah dem so dey got someplace for stand.

So today, you build one piece of dat floor. Something in da freezer, da walk shortened to ten minutes on paper, one message to dat person you wouldn't normally tink to reach out to. Just one ting, set up right now, for one version of you dat no goin be able for set up notting.

Da bad days, dey coming, dey always was coming. You can meet dem wit something already in place, and dat, pretty much dat's da whole ting people mean when dey talk about taking care of yourself.
