Get one small argument you stay having wit yourself evry single morning and you already know how um go. Both sides stay familiar. Half da time get one winna and eitha way um cost you da same. Da room stay quiet, da day not even touch yet, and dis argument goin run again unless someting change.
One glass water going lukewarm on top da shelf. Papers in one stack wit dea own kine logic. Dat certain blue befo da sun clear da buildings. One phone face down, stay warm, stay waiting.
Evry time you gotta choose da same ting again, get charge to you, no matta you win um o not. Da reason is, deciding by itself stay da expensive part: holding two options open, weighing um out, talking yourself into one, dat take da same attention as da work would have took, and um happen befo any work even start. Forty small negotiations befo nine in da morning, dat one real cost, paid in da exact currency da day needed most, and um hit befo anyting worth doing even begin. You not indecisive. You just leave one vote open on someting you already settled years ago, and da polls open up again evry sunrise.
See what one rule really buy you. Look like stay rigid but um work like freedom, cuz someting you decide once, stop asking you. You no go renegotiate your own name evry morning, and nutting stay lost from dat; same ting fo anyting you truly settled. Willpower nevah was da ting stay short hea. Was da numba of open questions dat was short, and dat numba, you da one who set um, not someting somebody give you.
So today, one of dem close fo good. Pick da argument you stay most tired of having, decide um in one sentence, and say um out loud so um exist outside your head. Not one whole system, not one plan fo everyting. One rule, said once.
Tomorrow dat argument no even start. You goin feel da quiet whea um used to stay, and um goin be way bigga dan one small decision should evah be.
